Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Gorges
Highlights:
Depart from Marrakech in the morning and travel through the scenic High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, an ancient fortified village often featured in films. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and visit the Kasbah Taourirt.
In the afternoon, journey through the Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses before reaching the Dades Gorges. Explore the dramatic landscapes of the gorges before settling into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Dades Gorges to Merzouga Desert Camp
Highlights:
After breakfast, explore the Dades Valley, known for its striking rock formations, and drive through the Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs create a breathtaking canyon. Continue to Merzouga, passing through the towns of Erfoud and Rissani, famous for their fossils and vibrant markets.
Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, where you’ll embark on a camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Witness a stunning sunset over the dunes before arriving at your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the starry sky, followed by music around the campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech
Highlights:
Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes and savor breakfast at the camp. Ride back to Merzouga village, where your driver will take you on the return journey to Marrakech. Retrace your route through the Draa Valley, passing picturesque kasbahs, palm groves, and desert landscapes. Stop for lunch (at your own expense) and enjoy the views before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
